Neys-van Hoogstraten Fund
In December 2023, the contract of the official collaboration between the Neys-van Hoogstraten Foundation and the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) was signed. The aim of the collaboration is to set up a fund to financially support Master students at KIT, and to support research as part of the collaboration between KIT and Asian research institutes.
The Neys- van Hoogstraten Fund promotes socioeconomic research with a gender lens on food security of households and nutritional security of vulnerable groups in selected Southeast and South Asian countries.
Through the NHF/KIT collaboration two types of research grants are available:
- Research grants, aiding with the cost of fieldwork, for Masters students at KIT.
- Research grants for Masters and PhD students, who are part of regular research collaboration between KIT and research institutes in Southeast and South Asia. These students are jointly supervised by the local research institutes and KIT.

NHF has generously made available the sum of 100,000 Euro per year for the next five years.
